I have decades of experience working with individuals in community mental health and private practice, and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon since 2008. During that time, I’ve had experience offering collaborative therapy with a diverse range of individuals and couples.
Life is challenging for many, and I strive to create a safe environment that supports people in their therapeutic journey, helping them navigate life in a way that brings them meaning and contentment. My clients have described me as authentic, humorous, and easy to be around.
Many individuals feel apprehensive or nervous when considering therapy. I know it takes bravery to discuss personal issues with a stranger, especially if those things have been kept private or never discussed with other individuals, whether they be partners, friends, or family members. When individuals come to see me, they can expect to be accepted, supported, and challenged.
In addition to my work with clients, I taught at Portland State’s Graduate School of Social Work for over 15 years. As part of my work, I have provided training and clinical consultation to local and state agencies for over two decades, including individual and group CSWA supervision.
I look forward to meeting you!
